Khal
Khal is a lawyer at McCormicks with an eye for detail and inside-out knowledge of the courts. Prior to joining us in November 2012, he clocked-up over four years, in a number of roles, at the State Court - most recently Deputy Registrar.
Khal draws upon his legal background in the courts and a 'top-tier' law firm. He has also undertaken a significant amount of volunteer work, having worked with a number of community legal centres across Queensland and assisting the Arts Law Centre of Australia with arts-related legal and business matters. At McCormicks, Khal brings together all this experience to work with Matt and the team on commercial and litigation matters for customers in the entertainment industries as well as corporate and commercial enterprises. Khal holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland. After completing his Practical Legal Training at the College of Law. Internally we refer to Khal as William Wallace due to his thick Scottish accent and never say die attitude. |
